Volunteering with 5604 Manor is a rewarding experience. On occasional weekend work days, we need help on tasks such as painting, yard work, and cleaning. We also need help with regular maintenance and improvement projects during working hours. Interested volunteers should email Brigid Hall at email@example.com.
Become part of the 5604 Manor family that is helping build a more just and sustainable world right here in Austin. Every contribution matters, no matter of the amount. Donations can also be made easily and securely on-line by clicking here.
In addition to retiring the debt for the building and land, the 5604 Manor Capital Campaign aims to raise money to expand the ways in which 5604 Manor serves the community. In addition to the existing office, meeting, and lecture/performance space indoors, we want to expand the facilities for educational and youth programming. We also have an ambitious plan to turn the 2-acre backyard into a beautiful and functional space for community gardens, recreation, and a larger outdoor performance space.
Financial contributions to the 5604 Manor Capital Campaign will have a direct and immediate impact; the groups involved in the project have an abundance of energy and lack only the financial resources to expand their programming and services.
In a world marked by so many divisions between people, 5604 Manor started with the central goal of creating a truly multi-racial/ethnic/cultural center. Community is an experience, not just an idea, and the groups at 5604 Manor are making community by coming together in solidarity, not to ignore our differences but to deepen our understanding of each other.
